Bifidobacterium, Thermophilus, Lactobacillus, Acidophilus. They are foreign sounding, but are in fact just a few names of the hundreds of species of necessary bacteria that live in our gut, mouth, urinary and vaginal tracts. Maybe more familiar terms are beneficial bacteria, natural flora, probiotics, or friendly bacteria. It seems a contradiction in terms, "friendly bacteria."...
