Steven graduated Cum Laude from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mass Communications, focusing on film studies, journalism and theatre arts. LITTLE ROCK — Talk about your all-time science fiction/double feature. Tell your friends about the Twinkie because CALS Ron Robinson Theater in the downtown River Market is getting in the Halloween spirit. The venue schedules two beloved, iconic film screenings for Friday, October 4.
The original "Ghostbusters" (1984) starring Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, the late Harold Ramis and Sigourney Weaver plays at 7 p.m. and is immediately followed by "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" (1975) at 9:30 p.m. Tim Curry, Richard O'Brien and cast will leave you with laughter, tears and the drive to not dream it, but be it.
Admission is only $5 for each showing. The theater is also selling prop bags/participation kits for the interactive#RockyHorrorPictureShow for only $5 extra. And believe it, you want to dress up and be a part of the action. It's one of the most thrilling experiences each All Hallows' Eve.
Doors open at 6 p.m. for "Ghostbusters" and at 8:30 p.m. for "The Rocky Horror Picture Show." If you can't make #RockyHorror on October 4, don't worry. Ron Robinson has fans of the "Time Warp" covered with additional showtimes leading up to Halloween. Here is the schedule:
