Steven graduated Cum Laude from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mass Communications, focusing on film studies, journalism and theatre arts. Dubbed a "prolific" writer by Hollywood icon Kenneth Johnson (The Incredible Hulk, V, The Bionic Woman, Alien Nation), Steven has been honored by the Arkansas College Media Association for his story writing prowess. He has also received recognition for his dramatic writing from the Eerie, Shriekfest and Screamfest horror film festivals. Publications include: Carroll County News, Saline Courier, Forum, Echo and Moroch.

Halloween happenings: Haunted Hotel of Arkansas

Halloween happenings officially kicked off with The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975) screenings in Little Rock last week, and now it's time to get your scare on. And the first of many haunted houses opens its doors tonight.

The HauntedHotel will begin accepting reservations Friday, September 28 at 7 p.m. at its 2018 location: 3400 Brown St., Little Rock, Arkansas 72204. Admission is $15 a ticket or $20 for the speed pass every night except Halloween ($20 ticket/$25 speed pass). The haunt is open Fridays and Saturdays until midnight and weeknights until 10 p.m.
