LOS ANGELES — The first trailer for CBS' Star Trek: Discovery is here. The new television show was picked up for at least a thirteen-episode run for season one.
And while the events of "Discovery" take place a decade before Kirk, Spock and the Enterprise crew's five-year mission, there is a character from the original series in play.
Actor Rainn Wilson will be the lovable malefactor Harry Mudd in nine episodes of season one. The show also stars Sonequa Martin-Green, Michelle Yeoh 楊紫瓊, Anthony Rapp and Jason Issacs.
