Summer movie preview

LITTLE ROCK — Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 may lack the initial wonder and charm of the original movie overall, but the sequel's ending is vastly more satisfying than fillmmaker James Gunn's first attempt at Marvel's ragtag heroes. And you'll be in the aisles laughing when you see Peter Quill chastising teenage Groot.
And while "Guardians" will officially launch the summer box office season, there are a number of contenders and hidden gems for Star-Lord, Gamora and the gang to face off with over the next four months. Here is a list of the blockbusters and other films to look for weekend by weekend in 2017.
