LOS ANGELES — M. Night Shyamalan has confirmed, via Twitter, that "Glass" is happening. The filmmaker has already finished the script for the third installment in the Unbreakable series, and both Samuel L. Jackson and Bruce Willis will return. Split stars James McAvoy and Anya Taylor-Joy are also on board. "Glass" will open in theaters on January 18, 2019.
"It’s taken 17 years but I can finally answer the #1 question I get, 'Are you making a f#&@ing sequel to Unbreakable or what?' " Shyamalan tweeted. "My new film is the sequel to #Unbreakable AND #Split. It was always my dream to have both films collide in this third film."
