Steven graduated Cum Laude from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mass Communications, focusing on film studies, journalism and theatre arts. Dubbed a "prolific" writer by Hollywood icon Kenneth Johnson (The Incredible Hulk, V, The Bionic Woman, Alien Nation), Steven has been honored by the Arkansas College Media Association for his story writing prowess. He has also received recognition for his dramatic writing from the Eerie, Shriekfest and Screamfest horror film festivals. LITTLE ROCK — Riverfront Park will once again host the Movies in the Park series, and this year's lineup is nothing short of spectacular. Beat Arkansas' summer heat on the cool banks of the Arkansas River with some ice cold refreshments and FREE feature films. Here's the 2016 schedule and more information from their official website.

About Movies In The Park
Mission
Movies in the Park is a free outdoor movie series in Little Rock's River Market. The mission of Movies in the Park is help foster a sense of community and enjoyment in downtown Little Rock and throughout Central Arkansas by bringing people together to enjoy a movie in a unique setting along the scenic banks of the Arkansas River.
Since its inception, we've always believed that Movies in the Park should be free and open to everyone. We are grateful to all of our sponsors because without their generosity, Movies in the Park wouldn't be possible. Rules
Movies in the Park is a free outdoor film series shown at First Security Amphitheatre in Riverfront Park. Movies start at dark.You're welcome to bring picnics but please no glass containers and pick up afterwards. Alcohol is allowed during the movie but, you remain subject to all local, state and federal laws and ordinances. Uniformed security is on site for everyone's safety. If you choose not to bring your own picnic we do have concessions available for sale. Bring your bug spray, picnic and family and have a good time!
Security will absolutely NOT tolerate groups disturbing the movie. Please find a seat and be respectful of your neighbors' movie watching experience. If you are there to socialize and not watch the movie, please do so outside of the Amphitheater.
Smoking -- it is the policy of the City of Little Rock Parks and Recreation that smoking is not allowed in public parks. Please refrain from smoking inside the Amphitheater. If you must smoke please exit the amphitheater to do so.

Q: When does the park open?
A: The park opens at 6:30 pm
Q: Do I need to bring a blanket or lawn chairs in order to enjoy the movie?
A: You are welcome to bring either a blanket or a lawn chair and sit on the grass section of the amphitheater. However, there is dedicated seating up front.
Q: Can I bring alcohol to the movie?
A: If you are 21, yes, alcohol is permitted so long as it is not in a glass container and is consumed in accordance with all local, state and federal laws and ordinances. You assume responsibility for your own behavior.
Q: Are pets allowed at Movies in the Park?
A: Pets are allowed at Movies In The Park, but must remain leashed and owners are responsible for cleanup as per any other city park's rules
Q: Is there security on duty?
A: Yes, we have uniformed security officers on duty and LRPD for the duration of the film.
Q: When you say sundown, what time do you really mean?
A: We start the movie as the sun begins to set. If you would like a specific time, please refer to Weather.com for more specific sunset times.
Q: Where do I park?
A: There are several free lots surrounding the park. There are pay parking lots at the corner of Commerce and President Clinton Avenue as well as a paid parking deck adjacent to the Downtown Marriott hotel. Please see this map for River Market parking options.
Q: Are there bugs?
A: Riverfront Park is located on the banks of the Arkansas River and because of the fragile ecosystem of the various wildlife and bugs that we Like, we cannot spray for bugs that we don't like -- like mosquitos. So, we recommend that you bring bug spray.
Q: Speaking of concessions, what's for sale at Movies in the Park?
A: A variety of concessionaires set up during Movies in the Park offering selections ranging from soft drinks, candy and popcorn, to hot dogs, burgers and bbq, to ice cream, snow cones and popsicles.
Q: But can I bring my own food?
A: Yes. You are welcome to bring your own food so long as you clean up after yourself when the movie is over.
Q: Where do you get all the projection and sound equipment to show the movie?
A: The Little Rock Convention and Visitors Bureau Technical Services department provides all the equipment for the movies.

Driving directions to Little Rock's Riverfront Park: From I-40, take I-30 South. As you cross the Arkansas River, you will see the Riverfront Park Amphitheater. Take the Cantrell Rd./Markham St. exit (#141A) and follow the signs for 2nd and Ferry. If traveling in on I-30 from the South, follow the same directions beginning with the 141A exit.
