'HIGHLANDER' Reboot Imminent
Posted Monday, December 15, 2014, at 3:27 AM

Sean Connery and Christopher Lambert star in the original "Highlander" (1986).
"There can be only one." Yeah, tell that to the big Hollywood money-making machine. With several failed sequels to its credit, the original "Highlander" (1986) is getting a face lift. It's remake time.
I'm not crazy about the idea of Tom Cruise possibly playing the role of the mentor in Summit's upcoming "Highlander" reboot. And I hate that Ryan Reynolds has dropped out of contention to play Connor MacLeod.
Despite all the casting problems, it still appears we could have a new reason to chant "There can be only one" sometime in 2015. Don't be surprised if this release date gets pushed, because of all the carnage involved.
