Steven graduated Cum Laude from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mass Communications, focusing on film studies, journalism and theatre arts. Dubbed a "prolific" writer by Hollywood icon Kenneth Johnson (The Incredible Hulk, V, The Bionic Woman, Alien Nation), Steven has been honored by the Arkansas College Media Association for his story writing prowess. He has also received recognition for his dramatic writing from the Eerie, Shriekfest and Screamfest horror film festivals. Publications include: Carroll County News, Saline Courier, Forum, Echo and Moroch.

"Fifty Shades of Grey" hits theaters just in time for Valentine's Day.

100 million copies have been sold worldwide...

Author E.L. James penned a deliciously erotic and surprisingly tear-jerking trio of novels that began with the publication of 2011's "Fifty Shades of Grey." Now, Hollywood has decided to bring the story to the Silver Screen. Check out the first trailer for 2015's film (below).

If you haven't read the books, and you should endeavor to do so, they are akin to elongated soap operas with copious amounts of gratuitous sex. I found myself finishing three books, nearly 1600 pages, in just over a week's time. I literally couldn't put them down. Books No. 2 and No. 3, "Fifty Shades Darker" and "Fifty Shades Freed" were both published in 2012.

The film will have a hard time avoiding the dreaded NC-17 rating, but writer E.L. James has frequently been present on set. She is convinced that the carnal ventures of Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey will translate to the big screen.

"What I've seen hasn't been particularly watered down, so, um, yeah," James said. "I thought it was interesting!"

Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith's 24-year-old daughter Dakota Johnson won the role of the virginal Ana Steele, while 32-year-old actor/model Jamie Dornan portrays the dominating Mr. Christian Grey. Check out interviews with Dornan and Johnson in the videos (below).

The film also stars Eloise Mumford (Kate), Victor Rasuk (Jose), Luke Grimes (Elliot), Rita Ora (Mia), Max Martini (Taylor), Marcia Gay Harden (Grace), Andrew Airlie (Carrick) and Callum Keith Rennie (Ray).

The film opens on February 13, 2015.
