Steven graduated Cum Laude from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mass Communications, focusing on film studies, journalism and theatre arts. Dubbed a "prolific" writer by Hollywood icon Kenneth Johnson (The Incredible Hulk, V, The Bionic Woman, Alien Nation), Steven has been honored by the Arkansas College Media Association for his story writing prowess. He has also received recognition for his dramatic writing from the Eerie, Shriekfest and Screamfest horror film festivals. THE ROCK is BLACK ADAM

Dwayne Johnson will portray the sinister Black Adam in Warner Bros. upcoming "Shazam!" film project.

It's official!

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson will play Black Adam in the upcoming "Shazam!" movie. Here is the Rock's announcement via Twitter:

Black Adam is the primary antagonist of the D.C. Comics superhero Captain Marvel aka Shazam. Adam first appeared in "The Marvel Family" No. 1 comic book, which was published in 1945.

Adam was the forerunner to young Bill Baston (Shazam), but Captain Marvel's predecessor became a corrupt self-serving God who used the superpowers of Solomon, Hercules, Atlas, Zeus, Achilles and Mercury to serve his own purposes.

The film "Shazam!" is one of four films that will follow 2016's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice."
