'VACATION' Sequel Adds to Cast

"National Lampoon's Vacation" (1983) is getting a new sequel.
New Line Cinema's "Vacation" is starting to make some progress on the casting front with the addition of both Chris Hemsworth and Charlie Day to the cast. Hemsworth will reportedly play Audrey Griswold's husband, while Day will merely have a cameo role.
The film still does not have a release date and there is still no confirmation on whether or not Chevy Chase and Beverly D'Angelo will appear in the movie.
The plot revolves around a now grown Rusty Griswold (Ed Helms) who is planning to take his family on vacation, as his father Clark did for him so many years before. John Francis Daley and Jonathan M. Goldstein are on board as the writer/directors.
