Steven graduated Cum Laude from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mass Communications, focusing on film studies, journalism and theatre arts. Dubbed a "prolific" writer by Hollywood icon Kenneth Johnson (The Incredible Hulk, V, The Bionic Woman, Alien Nation), Steven has been honored by the Arkansas College Media Association for his story writing prowess. He has also received recognition for his dramatic writing from the Eerie, Shriekfest and Screamfest horror film festivals. Publications include: Carroll County News, Saline Courier, Forum, Echo and Moroch.

FARMLAND ADVENTURES: 5355 Parsons Road. September 6 through November 2. Thursdays and Fridays 3 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. and Saturdays 10 a.m. - 9:30 p.m. Admission: Adults (13-years-old and up) $9, Seniors (65-years-old and up) $7, Kids (3 to 12-years-old) $8. Police and military discount (extends to immediate family): $2 off regular admission. Admission includes access to the Giant and Mini Corn mazes, Kid's Corner, petting zoo, pig races, pumpkin patch, pony and wagon rides. Pick a pumpkin for 50 cents a pound ($10 maximum). Open Fridays 4 p.m. - 10 p.m., Saturdays 10 a.m. - 10 p.m. and Sundays 1 p.m. - 6 p.m. Pumpkin patch is open Mondays 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission: $8 each or $7 a person for groups with 20 or more members.
