Steven graduated Cum Laude from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mass Communications, focusing on film studies, journalism and theatre arts. Dubbed a "prolific" writer by Hollywood icon Kenneth Johnson (The Incredible Hulk, V, The Bionic Woman, Alien Nation), Steven has been honored by the Arkansas College Media Association for his story writing prowess. He has also received recognition for his dramatic writing from the Eerie, Shriekfest and Screamfest horror film festivals. Publications include: Carroll County News, Saline Courier, Forum, Echo and Moroch.

First Look: RYAN GOSLING in 'ONLY GOD FORGIVES'

Lost in the numerous high-profile feature films opening this summer is a possible sleeper in Ryan Gosling's new crime thriller "Only God Forgives." Directed by Nicolas Winding Refn (Valhalla Rising, Drive), the movie also stars Kristin Scott Thomas and Vithaya Pansringarm.

10 years removed from killing a member of the police, Julian (Gosling) hides out in Bangkok as the manager of a Thai boxing club. The establishment is secretly a front for Julian to run an elaborate drug smuggling operation.

Driven by revenge, Julian's mother Crystal (Thomas) arrives. She is not your ordinary housewife though, as she leads a very influential criminal organization. Crystal persuades Julian to track down and deal with those responsible for killing her other son and his brother.
