Steven graduated Cum Laude from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mass Communications, focusing on film studies, journalism and theatre arts. Dubbed a "prolific" writer by Hollywood icon Kenneth Johnson (The Incredible Hulk, V, The Bionic Woman, Alien Nation), Steven has been honored by the Arkansas College Media Association for his story writing prowess. He has also received recognition for his dramatic writing from the Eerie, Shriekfest and Screamfest horror film festivals. Publications include: Carroll County News, Saline Courier, Forum, Echo and Moroch.

Not that you need another reason to watch the 2013 MTV Movie Awards, but now Katniss and Peeta fans have one more. The first official teaser trailer for "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" will be shown during the broadcast. The MTV Movie Awards air Sunday, April 14 at 8 p.m. CST. Check out unseen footage from the film in the short promo (below).

Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) and Petta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson) find their triumph in the Hunger Games short lived. The pair are stripped of both their victory and reward, as they are forced to compete in the Quarter Quell -- the most ominous Hunger Games ever.

The film also stars Elizabeth Banks, Alan Ritchson, Liam Hemsworth, Stanley Tucci, Woody Harrelson, Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Donald Sutherland and Jeffrey Wright; Francis Lawrence directs.

"The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" opens on November 22, 2013.
