"Wolverine" Returning to Silver Screen in 2013

Hugh Jackman will once again tackle the role of fan favorite Logan/Wolverine in next summer's "The Wolverine." The film finds our hero a long way from home, as he journeys to Japan to train with a mysterious samurai warrior.
In terms of timeline, "The Wolverine" follows the events of "X-Men: The Last Stand" (2006) and is not a direct sequel to "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" (2009). Director James Mangold (Girl, Interrupted; Walk the Line; 3:10 to Yuma) helms the new project.
Will Yun Lee will play the villainous mutant Kenuichio Harada aka the Silver Samurai. The Samurai first appeared in Daredevil #111 (1974).
Svetlana Khodchenkova is also rumored to be playing Viper, a deadly villain of both the Avengers and X-Men. She first appeared in the comic book Captain America #110 (1969).
The movie also stars Brian Tee, Hiroyuki Sanada, Tao Okamoto and Rila Fukushima. Famke Janssen is reportedly returning as Jean Grey, but this casting rumor has not been confirmed.
"The Wolverine" opens in theaters on July 26, 2013.
