Steven graduated Cum Laude from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mass Communications, focusing on film studies, journalism and theatre arts. Dubbed a "prolific" writer by Hollywood icon Kenneth Johnson (The Incredible Hulk, V, The Bionic Woman, Alien Nation), Steven has been honored by the Arkansas College Media Association for his story writing prowess. He has also received recognition for his dramatic writing from the Eerie, Shriekfest and Screamfest horror film festivals. Halloween happenings: pumpkin patches, mazes and hayrides galore

Check out some of the great pumpkin patches, hayrides and corn mazes Arkansas has to offer.
FARMLAND ADVENTURES: 5350 Parsons Road. Thursdays and Fridays 3 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Saturdays 10 a.m. - 9:30 p.m. Admission: Adults (13-years-old and up) $9, Seniors (65-years-old and up) $7, Kids (3 to 12-years-old) $8. Police and military discount (extends to immediate family): $2 off regular admission. Admission includes access to the Giant and Mini Corn mazes, Kid's Corner, petting zoo, pig races, pumpkin patch, pony and wagon rides. Pick a pumpkin for 50 cents a pound ($8 maximum). MARY'S PLACE PUMPKIN PATCH: 3705 Highway 5 North. Open Monday - Friday from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Admission: Hayride with pick-a-pumpkin option is $7.50; $5 if you don't pick a pumpkin. MOTLEY'S PUMPKIN PATCH: 13724 Sandy Ann Drive. Saturdays and Sundays only through Oct. 28. 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. -- entrance closes at 5 p.m. Admission: $8 adults. Kids under 3-years old and seniors (55-years-old and up) get in for free. For more info call 501-888-1129. Tractor-pulled wagon will ride into field where you can pick your own pumpkins. OZARK CORN MAZE: 12880 Highway 112 at Wagon Wheel Road. Open Fridays 4 p.m. - 11 p.m., Saturdays 10 a.m. - 11 p.m. and Sundays 1 p.m. - 6 p.m. through Oct. 31. Maze is open from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. on Halloween. Admission: $12 or $10 a person for groups with 20 or more members. Price includes one pass through the Haunted Maze, unlimited 6-acre maze, kids maze and petting zoo. Kids 3-years-old and under get in free, but that does NOT include the Haunted Maze.
